<image:title>Puppy Life 101 - How to Travel with a Puppy (Car Rides, Hotels & Airplanes) - Additionally, if you looking for the best thing to keep all the essentials together, I suggest this hard seat cover that I use for my dogs. It has a hard base for an even flat surface, has storage mesh for their essentials, and is super easy to clean (because pups can be messy). Plus, it comes with a dog seatbelt.</image:title>

<image:title>Puppy Life 101 - How to Travel with a Puppy (Car Rides, Hotels & Airplanes) - The crate that I have for my pups easily folds down for easy transportation (right). Stick to your home routine as much as possible: feeding, potty breaks, and sleep schedule. Always supervise your puppy when in the room (some hotels don’t allow pets to be left alone at all). Travel with an “accident kit” — enzymatic cleaner, wipes, and backup potty pads, just in case.</image:title>

<image:title>Puppy Life 101 - Staying On Top Of Your Puppy Vaccination Schedule - Bringing home a new puppy? Super exciting! But don’t forget one of the most important parts of raising a healthy pup: vaccinations. Just like human babies, puppies need a series of vaccines to protect them from dangerous — and potentially deadly — diseases. Staying on schedule helps build their immunity and gives them the best start in life.</image:title>

<image:title>Puppy Life 101 - Crate Training Basics: Why It Works & How to Start - When I first adopted Foxxy, I was still living at my parents' house and just used an old crate they had for their dogs. It worked fine at the time, but once I moved into my own place, I wanted something a little more comfortable and suited for her. I ended up getting a wire crate with a divider. I bought another one, and the divider was perfect when I later brought home my puppy, Bosley, years later. I adjusted the space as he grew, and when he was big enough, I just removed the divider completely. It gave him enough room to stretch out and feel right at home</image:title>

<image:title>Puppy Life 101 - The Ultimate New Puppy Checklist</image:title>
<image:caption>Bringing home a new puppy? Congratulations — and welcome to the wildest, cutest, most rewarding adventure ever. Whether it’s your first pup or your fifth, those early puppy days can feel like a total whirlwind. I thought I was prepared — after all, I grew up around dogs and had my first dog, Foxxy, for over 10 wonderful years (though she was already 3 when I rescued her). But bringing home Bosley as a puppy? That was a whole different story. I quickly realized I needed a serious refresher on puppy life.</image:caption>

<image:title>Training & Behavior - 8 Easy Commands to Teach Your Puppy (With Step-by-Step Instructions) - 1. Sit</image:title>
<image:caption>Why it matters: A polite pup who sits on cue is easier to manage at mealtimes, during greetings, and before going out the door. How to Teach: Hold a treat close to your puppy’s nose. Move your hand slowly up — their bottom will naturally lower. As soon as they sit, say “Sit” and give the treat + praise. Repeat 5–10 times per session.</image:caption>

<image:title>Training & Behavior - 8 Easy Commands to Teach Your Puppy (With Step-by-Step Instructions) - 3. Down</image:title>
<image:caption>Why it matters: This command encourages calm behavior and can help with impulse control. How to Teach: Start with your pup in a sitting position. Hold a treat in your hand and slowly lower it to the ground. Drag it out slightly in front to encourage them to lie down. Once they lie down, say “Down” and reward. Practice in short, low-distraction sessions.</image:caption>

<image:title>Training & Behavior - 5 Awesome Tricks to Teach Your Dog (That’ll Impress Everyone)</image:title>
<image:caption>In the beginning, I used my arm as a support for Bosley. I’d gently place my arm in front of him, and he would lift his front paws onto it — that alone earned a reward! As he got more comfortable, I slowly started to remove my arm to see if he could balance on his own, even just for a second or two. Any attempt to hold the position without help was praised and rewarded. Over time, I’d stretch how long he needed to balance before rewarding, always making sure to keep it fun and pressure-free. Eventually, he no longer needed my arm at all. It’s important to remember that dogs need to build the core strength and muscle control for this trick — it doesn’t happen overnight. It actually took Bosley about two months to master Sit Pretty completely on his own. But now? It’s his favorite trick to show off (especially when he wants attention). Last I checked, he could balance for a full 60 seconds - no sweat.</image:caption>

<image:title>Health & Wellness - Pet Parent Must Haves -Dog First Aid Kit - When it comes to our pups, we’d do anything to keep them safe, healthy, and happy. And, you never know when an emergency will happen - scraped paws, bee stings, cuts, or the occasional “mystery snack” they shouldn’t have eaten. That’s where a dog first-aid kit comes in handy, and can make all the difference when an unexpected situation pops up.</image:title>

<image:title>Travel - How to Prepare Your Dog for Their First Road Trip - ✅ Keep Your Dog Calm & Entertained Just like us, dogs get bored and anxious on long trips. Keep them comfortable with: Frozen Kongs or long-lasting chews Window shades to block bright sunlight Interactive toys for crate time And most importantly — talk to them! Your voice is reassuring, even if they don’t know where you’re going.</image:title>
<image:caption>Final Woof That first road trip is an adventure, and with the right prep, your pup can learn to love riding in the car. The more comfortable and confident your dog becomes, the easier it will be for both of you to explore new places together hereafter. So pack the treats, grab the essentials, and get ready to make your furry best friend the ultimate travel buddy.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Breweries & Wineries: Many local breweries and wineries offer relaxed, dog-welcoming patios — sometimes with fenced-in play areas for pups. Outdoor Malls & Markets: Dog-friendly farmer’s markets and open-air shopping centers are great weekend activities for social pups. And, it seems that some indoor malls are becoming dog-friendly, as our local mall has done. Dog Parks & Beaches: Cities like San Diego, Austin, and Portland have fantastic off-leash parks and designated dog beaches. National Parks (with dog trails): Some national parks allow dogs on certain trails and campsites — check rules before visiting.</image:caption>

Apple Store – Leashed dogs are often allowed in (except during peak times). Nordstrom – Select stores welcome dogs and may even offer treats. Pro tip: Keep your dog leashed, close by, and prepared for new sights and sounds.</image:caption>

<image:title>Dog Parents - 7 Dog Products That Make Life SO Much Easier - 4. Orthopedic Dog Bed</image:title>
<image:caption>Why We Love It: Comfort is everything for our pups, especially as they get older. An orthopedic bed supports their joints, promotes better sleep, and helps prevent aches and stiffness. Bosley and Foxxy’s Experience: Bosley has claimed this bed as his personal throne. We actually bought a second one for Foxxy because she kept sneaking into his! Now they both nap like royalty.</image:caption>

<image:title>Dog Parents - 7 Dog Products That Make Life SO Much Easier - 6. Dog Car Seat Cover</image:title>
<image:caption>Why We Love It: If you love road trips but hate muddy paw prints on your seats, this is a must have. Waterproof, scratch-proof, and easy to clean — it keeps your car looking fresh. It also comes with a dog seatbelt for extra safety. Our Experience: We recently used this for Bosley and Foxxy’s dog beach trip, and it saved me from total chaos. Between beach sand, wet dog hair, and pup cups, my car seats stayed spotless. <image:caption>Why We Love It: Whether it’s a walk, a hike, or a road trip, this water bottle is a must-have. It keeps your pup hydrated on the go without the mess of carrying clunky bowls. Bosley’s Experience: Bosley is always on the move, and this bottle has saved us on hot summer walks, or just outings in general. One squeeze, and he’s happily lapping away — no spills, no waste! <image:title>Dog Parents - 7 Dog Products That Make Life SO Much Easier - 5. Interactive Puzzle Toys</image:title>
<image:caption>Why We Love It: Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. Puzzle toys challenge your dog’s brain, reduce boredom, and can even help with separation anxiety. Bosley’s Experience: Bosley LOVES solving puzzles for treats — he’s basically the Einstein of the house. Foxxy, on the other hand, just waits for him to figure it out so she can steal the snacks. You know what? She might be the mastermind. I recant my previous statement Check it out here: Check Out Our Favorite Puzzle Toy</image:caption>

<image:title>Dog Parents - 7 Dog Products That Make Life SO Much Easier - 2. Slow Feeder</image:title>
<image:caption>Why We Love It: If your pup eats faster than you can blink, a slow feeder is a life-saver. It helps prevent bloating, improves digestion, and turns mealtime into a fun little puzzle. Bosley’s Experience: Bosley is my snack goblin and tends to inhale his kibble like a vacuum. With this button puzzle, it slows down his consumption while also providing enrichment and entertainment. Check it out here: Shop the Slow Feeder Bowl</image:caption>

<image:title>Dog Parents - 7 Dog Products That Make Life SO Much Easier - 7. Freezbone</image:title>
<image:caption>Why We Love It: Perfect for summer heat or just a fun treat! The Freezbone is a chewable toy you can fill with water, broth, or yogurt and freeze. It keeps your dog cool, hydrated, and entertained all at once. There are numerous Freezbone shapes and designs. Bosley’s Experience: I typically fill Bosley’s Freezbone with peanut butter, plain greek yogurt, and pumpkin puree, pop it in the freezer for a few hours, and let him enjoy. He LOVES it — and I love knowing he’s cooling down while getting a healthy snack. It’s become his favorite ritual! Check it out here: Get the Freezbone Freezbox</image:caption>

<image:title>Dog Parents - 7 Dog Products That Make Life SO Much Easier - 1. Dog Grooming Vacuum Kit</image:title>
<image:caption>Why We Love It: Shedding season used to mean vacuuming daily, but this grooming kit completely changed the game. It trims, grooms, and vacuums the fur at the same time — meaning less hair on the couch, floor, and my clothes. This is definitely my number one must-have! Bosley’s Experience: Bosley loves being brushed (he’s our little diva), so he actually sits still and enjoys the whole spa treatment. Foxxy? Not so much — but even she tolerates it because the vacuum is quiet and quick. Check it out here: Get the Grooming Vacuum Kit Here</image:caption>
